Inside Movies The Place Where Movies and Stars Align

Robert Pattinson, 'Remember Me' Co-Stars Answer Fans in Exclusive Video Interviews

There's no mistaking Tyler Hawkins for Edward Cullen.

Tyler -- the young romantic 'Twilight' heartthrob Robert Pattinson portrays in the new drama 'Remember Me' -- is still brooding, but more in a Holden Caulfield, disenfranchised upper-crest New Yorker sort of way (rather than, you know, troubled by the anxieties of blood-lust and immortality).

Pattinson and co-stars Pierce Brosnan, Emilie de Ravin and Chris Cooper, plus director Allen Coulter and screenwriter Will Fetters, hit New York recently to talk about the Manhattan-set drama. And since, well, we had a feeling the masses of R.Patz fans might be just a little bit enthused to have their existence officially acknowledged by the actor, we opened up the floor for fan-submitted questions.

What Is 'Music by Prudence'?

It achieved some notoriety at the Academy Awards last night, when director Roger Ross Williams and producer Elinor Burkett fought for microphone time during their acceptance speech (you can read more about it over on PopEater, where they explain why it has become the "Kanye" moment of the Oscars). But what's the story behind the Oscar-winning Best Documentary Short, 'Music by Prudence'?

The 32-minute film documents the story of Prudence Mabhena, a Zimbabwe native suffering from a debilitating condition known as arthrogryposis that has left her body crippled. Unwanted by her father, Prudence was raised by her grandmother and taught the joys of singing. Living as a migrant worker made it difficult for Prudence's grandmother to support both of them -- and as a result, she was forced to go back to her abusive, neglectful father.

The Oscarologist: Voters Get It Right with 'Hurt Locker' Sweep

Kathryn BigelowThe moral of last night's Oscars may be that when there is a clear choice among the pictures nominated, the Academy will likely honor it no matter what. Kathryn Bigelow's 'The Hurt Locker' was so clearly the best movie on the Best Picture ballot that it won despite its dismal box office performance, a dunderheaded e-mail from one of its producers pitching it to Academy members and a week's worth of bad press during the voting period.

And it didn't just win Best Picture, it virtually swept the show, winning six of the nine awards for which it was nominated -- including one for its director, shattering an 81-year-old shutout of women -- and in their six head-to-head matchups, 'The Hurt Locker' beat 'Avatar' 5-1.

Sandra Bullock's German Acceptance Speech (VIDEO)

Regardless of how you felt about her Oscar-winning performance in 'The Blind Side,' Sandra Bullock's funny, emotional acceptance speech about her mother's influence on her was on of the ceremony's highlights.

Well, you should hear the German version.

When Bullock received the Bambi award for film in 2000 -- Germany's Oscar-ish awards for overall awesomeness -- she took the stage in the same charming, heartfelt way she did Sunday's Oscar ceremony. But when she realized she forgot her speech, Bullock was forced to rely on her impromptu German speaking skills, which are surprisingly on par with her skills as an actor.

Oscar After-Parties: Bullock Craves Burgers; Miley's New Man 'Fesses Up

What was first on the agenda for Sandra Bullock after her Oscar triumph? "Food," she told Us. "I just want a burger. I want to sit down, take the shoes off ... I want to eat and not sweat it and not worry the dress will bust open. I just want to relax and just eat ... And I'd like a nap, too."

Good thing Bullock and husband Jesse James hit up the star-studded Vanity Fair party, where Tom Hanks, who presented Best Picture, raved about the cheeseburgers, calling them "off-the-scale great." Why is food such a big priority? After a lengthy red carpet and a ceremony that ran more than a half an hour over, stars are starving.

Hilary Swank, who famously feasted on a late-night Astro Burger after her 2005 win for 'Million Dollar Baby,' was the talk of the Vanity Fair party, thanks to her "ravishingly revealing dress," the magazine's Web site dishes. At the same party, Best Actor winner Jeff Bridges partied long after midnight, when he and his 'Crazy Heart' co-star Maggie Gyllenhaal were spotted on the dance floor, shaking it to INXS's 'Need You Tonight,' Vanity Fair reports.

New John Hughes Film a Possibility

One of the highlights of last night's Oscar ceremony was the moving tribute to legendary writer/director John Hughes, as some of his most famous collaborators gathered together to celebrate a film legacy that included such classics as 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off,' 'The Breakfast Club' and 'Sixteen Candles.' Now comes word that Paramount may soon add another title to that list: 'Grisbys Go Broke.'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hughes, who passed away last August at the age of 59, left behind a large body of unproduced and unpublished writing, including the screenplay for 'Grisbys Go Broke,' which Paramount is rumored to be taking a close look at. But while the studio denies those rumors, there's no argument that the script, which follows the story of a rich Chicago family forced to move to the middle of nowhere when they lose everything, would be of interest considering both their relationship with Hughes and his track record for penning successful comedies.

New 'Iron Man 2' Trailer Unleashes War Machine

When the first trailer for this May's 'Iron Man 2' debuted a few months ago, we were treated to some quick cuts of what was to come: verbal spars with Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts, Whiplash (Mickey Rourke) ruining Tony Stark's fun at an Indy car race.

But on the heels of star Robert Downey Jr's not-so-subtle plug at Sunday's Oscars, Paramount released a brand new 'Iron Man 2' trailer that gets to the heart of the action with a little more detail.

Here we get a more serious Stark, defending his role to Congress as America's protector while unveiling some new technology. But it also shows Stark growing closer to Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, and the Whiplash/Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) team-up that leads Don Cheadle's Col. Jim Rhodes to convince Stark that he can't win with a little help from a friend.

And by "friend," he means War Machine.
