Launched in 1996, the Dubai Shopping Festival is the number one event in every shopper's calendar. The Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships, held in Dubai, UAE at the Aviation Club Tennis Centre will host the 18th anniversary of the Masters 500 ATP men's open, February 22-27, 2010 and the 10th anniversary of the WTA women's open, February 14-20, 2010. 
Dubai International Boat Show is the largest, most important and most established event of its kind in the region and as one of the fastest growing leisure marine industry exhibitions in the world, the 18th edition of the event will host the largest display of the leisure marine industry, from superyachts and fishing equipment to marine accessories abd diving gear. 
With the establishment of the annual invitation-only Dubai World Cup, the United Arab Emirates became the home of one of the world's top racing challenges, and drew the attention of millions of enthusiasts around the globe. Ramadan is the Muslim festival of fasting and is the most important festival in the Islamic Calendar which is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. The arrival of the crescent moon in the night sky signals the start of 30 days of fasting during which Muslims don't eat, drink or smoke during the day, eating all their meals before sunrise and after sunset.
