How do I join “TEAM SFAF” and sign up for the SF AIDS Walk?
ª Using the following link, connect to the “TEAM SFAF” team page on the SF AIDS Walk website and register for “TEAM SFAF” #1029:
- Complete the form.
IMPORTANT: Towards the end of the form there is a place to create a personal URL which you can send to people who might donate to your walk. Setting this up will make it easy for them to sponsor you! There is no way to do this later and it will greatly facilitate giving! The last area is where you set how much you would like to raise. There is no penalty for not reaching your goal, it is more a way to challenge your donors to help you raise more money!
ª When you click, “Continue,” you will be taken to an AIDS Walk SF page which explains:
- How to download your participant packet; when information packets will be sent; and where helpful forms are located.
- How to set up your Walker homepage, where people may go to donate to you, and where your donors can go to track your progress.

Shortly after your registration is processed, you will receive a Welcome Packet from the SF AIDS Foundation that will include information regarding the actual event (the process, breakfast, team photo); and fundraising tips, tools and sample letters.
