Iberian lynx Programme

 

The Iberian lynx is the world’s most critically endangered cat species, due to a catastrophic combination of habitat loss, lack of prey and incidental and intentional killings. Working with the Portuguese NGO Liga para a Protecção da Natureza (LPN) and the Spanish NGO Fundacion para la Conservacion de la Biodiversidad y su Habitat (CBD-Habitat), we are engaging with state and private land owners to ensure the creation and management of a continuous cross-border corridor of habitat to link fragmented lynx populations.
