Our 2008 accounts

2008 was another successful year for Fauna & Flora International, both in terms of our strong financial management and with regard to conservation. FFI continues to protect the world's species and ecosystems with around 100 projects spread throughout forty countries worldwide. Working through almost 300 local partner organisations, Fauna & Flora International continues to punch above its weight in terms of conservation impact.

With an impressive income increase of nearly 8% cost efficiency continued to be a priority for the organisation with management, administration and fundraising costs kept to a minimum allowing us to direct the majority of funds to effective biodiversity conservation.

None of this would have been possible without the generous support we receive from individuals and organisations who understand the increasingly pressing need to conserve what is left of the planet’s remaining wildlife and wild spaces. We are proud to have been able to make their contributions work hard for us in protecting the ecosystems that support life on Earth throughout 2008.

You can find out more about our past financial year in our summary Statement of Accounts briefing or in our full Annual Report and audited accounts document.
