The Manipal College of Nursing, Mangalore was started in the year 2006 as a constituent institute of Manipal University and recognised by Karnataka Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. Currently MCON, Mangalore has BSc. Nursing Programme with an intake of 100 seats.

MCON, Mangalore provides wide area of clinical practices at Kasturba Medical College Hospitals at Attavar and Ambedkar Circle. MCON is also a centre for various Continuing Nursing Education Programmes. Furthermore, students get opportunities for overall personality development like value education and soft skills training.
