The dimensions of the swimming pool are 33 x 12 metres. The minimum shallow end is 3.5 feet and maximum depth is 13 feet. It is a 6 lane swimming pool. The first season starts from the 10th of January and ends on the 15th of June. The second season starts from the 10th of July and ends on the 15th of December. The pool is open from 6 am to 9 am in the mornings and from 3 pm to 7 pm in the evenings

The bottom floor is cleaned with a suction sweeper every alternate day. Water filtration is carried out by a running pump. Chemicals are added as per requirement to maintain transparent nature of the water. Separate arrangement for female and male users. One hour is allotted per day for each gender. Learning/ teaching facility is available on request. Regular coaching /training facilities are available on request for interested students.

Team selection to University team inter collegiate events are done during competition etc. Nearly 1000 student staff, staff spouse and children use the facility of our Swimming Poll.

The institutions using the Swimming Pool are MIT, MIM, ICAS, MCIS, MIJM and WGSHA.
