Tamera

Welcome to Tamera!

  • Accommodation:

In Summer, accommodation in Tamera is in tents, in early Spring or late Autumn in communitarian lodging places (please bring a sleeping bag) or upon request in the Guest House (surcharge – please ask for details).

  • Important details for your stay:

Please register in advance (by telephone or e-mail), so that we can welcome you in a good way. Please confirm your arrival some days ahead by telephone or email and clarify possible open questions. Please don't bring animals with you.

  • Children:
Parents who want to come with their children are kindly asked to contact us beforehand as to find out when this is possible. For your first visit to Tamera we recommend to participate without children.

  • Please bring:
Sleeping bag, possibly own tent, sheets, good walking shoes, eco-friendly soaps and shampoo, sun screen, torch, possibly rain clothes.

  • Registration and Prices:
Tamera receives public sponsoring for only a few individual projects. The maintenance of the place and the building of the necessary infrastructure are financed by donations and by contributions of the community members.
The prices for our courses are calculated with a very narrow margin in order to make them accessible for as many people as possible. Children from 4 years-old on and youth up to the age of 21 pay half price. We cannot grant any reductions beyond these. Those who cannot pay the fees for the chosen course or event may apply to the scholarship fund: office (AT) tamera.org
We have installed this fund particularly for young participants from poorer countries.

  • Payment:
You can pay in cash upon arrival or make a bank transfer. We cannot accept credit cards.
In case of short-term cancellation (less than two weeks before the beginning of the event) we keep the advanced percentage as a handling fee.
