DKNY is known for its New York style, but the latest accessory offerings from the label have a distinctly Gallic vibe—call it a je ne sais quoi. This French grain leather satchel, in graphic black, white, and red, nods to the season’s love of all things sixties, but our favorite feature has to be the detachable front pocket. It transforms into a sweet little bag of its own, complete with swingy shoulder strap. Two bags for the price of one? Mais oui! Click the image to shop.

Designers from Frida Giannini at Gucci to Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy have gone feather-brained for Fall. After so many seasons of heavy beading (thanks, Balmain), feathers have a lightness that feels chic. While a cocktail number covered in the fluffy stuff is certainly fun, we like this T-shirt from Juicy Couture’s upscale big sis, Bird, for a simpler, easier take on the trend. From Alber Elbaz’s feathered gals at Lanvin to John Galliano’s haute nomads, tribal references are making a splash on the Parisian runways. You can get a head start on the trend with this minidress from Manoush. The fringe embellishment adds a just-wild-enough touch to a perfect day dress, and the embroidered floral motif keeps things light and sweet. It’s a wear-now piece that’ll take you straight through fall. Click the image to shop.

The question of Spring ‘10: to clog or not to clog? The Spring footwear hit is now hitting stores, and even if you’re a little more rock ‘n’ roll than country, you can’t go wrong with this pair from Joie. The thick wooden heel is plenty farm-girl, but the snakeskin-embossed upper is pure big-city babe. Best of all, there’s a heel strap, so you won’t stumble trying to wrangle a taxi. Yee-haw. Strong eye shadow is quickly becoming a major Fall 2010 beauty trend, but if heavily pigmented lids seem too club-kid for you, try a blue mascara for a lower-commitment look. Benefit’s BADgal blue mascara subtly brightens eyes (a universal beauty trick: blue next to white equals bright) and enhances your iris’ color, making blue eyes appear bluer and brown eyes more golden. A few swipes and, looking at your sparkling eyes, everyone will think you got a good night’s sleep, even if you’ve been out till dawn. Been a BAD gal? That’s your little secret. Mariage Frères has been supplying teas to discerning Parisians since the middle of the nineteenth century, but the company has lately been making a line of lovely floral candles, too. Inspired by the lush fields of Provence, the fragrance includes notes of rosemary, thyme, marjoram, and lavande. It’ll transport you directly to the South of France—for less than international airfare. Click the image to shop.

Greta Garbo knew. Audrey Hepburn knew. And now you know: The secret to great skin is Dr. Erno Laszlo. The famed Hungarian dermatologist’s products work wonders on and off the red carpet. Our favorite, the Laszlo Blue Firmarine cream, contains Spirulina maxima, a single-cell freshwater algae that helps deliver essential nutrients to the skin, stimulating new collagen growth and epidermal immunity. Translation: It’ll keep you looking good. You’ll look silver-screen perfect in no time. Click the image to shop.

A brilliant pop of color is a great way to stand out in the crowd. Case in point, Michael Kors‘ vibrant, oversized chronograph. In a sea of metallic and neutral timepieces, this sporty option makes getting the blues look a lot more appealing. And with its unfussy, menswear-influenced style, it’ll pair perfectly with the gym-friendly looks hitting stores this spring. Click the image to shop.

To twist the old saying, you can’t judge a perfume by its bottle. Whatever the flacon that Thierry Mugler’s best-selling Angel came in, we’d love the stuff. But if you’re one of the many devotees the scent’s picked up since its debut in the early nineties, this gorgeous Swarovski crystal collector’s edition bottle will be a must-have. It deserves pride of place on your vanity table. And lest we forget: The extrait de parfum inside smells as good as ever after all these years. Click the image to shop.
