Code of Conduct
The Group has a Code of Conduct that defines high employment standards for all Electrolux employees in all countries and business sectors. It incorporates issues such as child and forced labor, health and safety, workers’ rights and environmental compliance.
Number of employees
The average number of employees in 2009 was 50,633 (55,177), of whom 2,445 (2,865) were in Sweden. At year-end, the total number of employees was 51,750 (52,034). Salaries and remuneration in 2009 amounted to SEK 13,162m (12,662), of which SEK 973m (1,061) refers to Sweden.
