Super Meat Boy coming to PC in late November

The terrific and terrifically challenging Xbox Live Arcade Game Super Meat Boy will be heading to the PC soon. In a Twitter post, developer Team Meat said the PC port of the game will be made available on Steam sometime during the last week of November.

If for some reason you don't care to use Steam to buy the game a non-Steam version for the PC will be released sometime later but that it won't support Steam achievements. There's also a Mac port in the works but it too is due for release sometime later than the PC Steam version.

Super Meat Boy dev team gives new update

Super Meat Boy is another great title for a game. It's right up there with Age of Booty and Skulls of the Shogun in our book. Thankfully the retro-looking 2D platformer from indie developer Team Meat looks like it might be as good as the title. The game's official web site recently posted a development update on Super Meat Boy.

The update state that the team are working to finish their alpha build of the game and " ... basically that means that in about a week super meat boy will be ready to submit for testing and we can go into the last month of heavy development before we hopefully submit a final build and secure an official release date." So it sounds there won't be much more waiting around before we and everyone else will get their meat on.

Hey, that was a good joke. You, the one in Detroit . . . stop groaning.
