Actor Darrin Henson is gearing up for the launch of his new fitness DVD, 'Get Fit & Stay Fit with Darrin Henson.'

"My goal is to get people fit and teach them how to stay fit," Henson told BlackVoices.com. "Its a DVD program I have designed to get you to lose weight, get in shape and enjoy doing so! Most people diet and feel like they are dying when they do. I am going to show you how to live it!"

The former 'Soul Food' star, who has appeared in films like 'Stomp The Yard,' 'The Express' and 'The Salon,' said he hopes the people can incorporate the video into their daily lifestyle.

R&B star Monica recently got engaged to Los Angeles Laker guard Shannon Brown.

Former R&B chart-topper Brandy Norwood claims she hasn't had sex in years.

In an interview with Life & Style magazine, the 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant opened up about her bedroom business.

"I haven't been with a man seriously and in love in six years," said the 'I Wanna Be Down' singer. "And, honestly, I tend to abstain if I'm not in a relationship."

Oddly enough, Brandy was recently in a relationship with rapper Flo Rida and it was documented on her VH1 reality series, 'Brandy and Ray J: Family Business.'

Jonathan Slocumb is one of the few comics in the business who can perform on both 'Def Comedy Jam' and 'Bobby Jones Gospel.'

The "Couture Comic," as he calls himself, is readying the release of his curse-free DVD series. The first DVD, 'Live From Chicago,' hits stores on Oct. 25.

Season nine 'American Idol' contestant Todrick Hall has created an original song and music video to support LGBT activist Dan Savage's "It Gets Better" campaign to discourage gay and bisexual teenagers from committing suicide as a result of bullying.

Titled 'It Gets Better,' the original tune written by Hall also features clips of video messages from the campaign from rapper Eve, talk show host Wendy Williams and singer Jason Derulo, among others.

"I heard about all of the recent suicides, and I knew that I had to do something," Hall told BlackVoices. "God put this song on my heart, and I put it down on paper."

'Undercovers' star Boris Kodjoe is not too happy with all the speculation that his NBC drama is on the verge of being canceled.

The 37-year-old actor phoned BlackVoices.com from the Los Angeles set of his new series to discuss the fate of the show.

"We're doing great," he assured. "This year has been a weird year for new shows – there hasn't been a runaway hit. It has to do with so many different things, from programming to budgets and the economy as a whole. The bottom line is, we have a great show and everyone who sees the show loves the show, which is great."

Though many trade publications have reported that 'Undercovers' is underperforming, with its debut ratings of 8.7 million viewers, followed by a dip to 7.2 million in its second week, Kodjoe said that the network it pleased thus far.

Award winning actress S. Epatha Merkerson has a case of ophidiophobia – that's a severe fear of snakes!

The former 'Law & Order' star almost passed on the chance to star opposite Samuel L. Jackson and Justin Timberlake in 'Black Snake Moan' until she was assured there were no snakes in the film.

"I won't even read a script with a snake in it," confessed Merkerson, during a recent interview. "That's the first thing I asked when they sent [the script] over. I don't think even the President could order me to do that."

Baltimore Ravens running back Willis McGahee anticipated there would be some "haters" when he accepted Kandi Burruss' invitation to appear on the third season of Bravo's 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' but never did he imagine that the scrutiny would be as outrageous as has been since the show premiered on Oct. 4.

"I was expecting a little flack, but I wasn't expecting for it to be like this and have everybody trying to dig up dirt on you and posting all of these comments. I'm from Miami so I've been through this. I've been hated on by girls, and dudes hating on me because of the girls. It's been like this all of my life. I think I was made for this for some strange reason," McGahee told this columnist, during our exclusive interview over dinner at Carolina Kitchen in Largo, Maryland.

The 28-year-old athlete, who began dating Burruss in late 2009 – months before the former Xscape singer began shooting her second season on the show -- acknowledged that while he's equipped to deal with the pressure of being on TV, bringing his children into the mix crosses the line.
