Scott Baio and Family in Toluca Lake, Estate of the Day
We first heard that Scott Baio had listed today's home in Toluca Lake, California back in July. Baio, who sold his Encino home in September for $2.5 million, is selling this seven-bedroom home, which belonged to his parents, along with his brother Steven, and sister Stephanie. This home was listed for $5.395 million back then but has since had a price cut.
The 11,000 square foot house has seven bedrooms, eight baths, a 26,000 square foot gated lot, guest house, and a pool in the back yard. The late Mario Baio bought the home in 1994 for $1,305,013 according to property records. But the house is too large for just their mother to live there alone anymore, according to the family. The home is designed for family life with both media and game rooms. It has a redone kitchen with granite countertops and Subzero and Gagganeu appliances. The downstairs master suite has a sitting room, fireplace, separate gym and office. There are three other downstairs suites. The home has a 10 car garage and also has an additional 1,500 square feet of interior space that could be used for a wine cellar or studio. Scott and Lisa Sorrentino of Rodeo Realty are listing the property which is now at $4.995 million. The property website is here.

Where to begin.... lime carpet, peach walls, bleach wood cabinets. The property looks great, but in need of serious updating on the inside.

Ha ha. Rod, I was just about to say the same thing.
Instead, I'll quote Susan Powter "Stop the Insanity!"

I coudln't imagine raising kids in that house. white walls wouldn't last a month ;)
I think it looks good, but a little "pure" for a family. maybe some gray/lighter brown on the walls to keep a more even look in case of young boys with dirty hands?

I think they should have skipped using the all white staging furniture and use some of the darker wood furniture which was moved into the garage. It would have looked better. Also, eighty six the bad art on the walls.

Ugh. Sea Foam Green carpet, furniture that looks like it came from a hotel auction, and mortuary-style bathtubs. I refuse to even discuss the "artwork" smearing the walls.
No, no, no, and no.

Who puts wall to wall carpet in a house that nice? If in doubt go with hardwood floors.
That's like murder.

He starred in a show set in the 50's and early 60's but his house is stuck in the 70's and 80's. Somebody buy this guy a calendar from THIS century!

The sea foam green carpet throughout would be ripped out immediately. Past that, it IS updated in the kitchen and bathrooms. With hardwood floors it would be stunning. It's bright and modern. Beautiful mansion.
