(Nov. 11) -- Salute to Service -- a joint project between the the Huffington Post and Causecast -- is a hub that provides real ways to help veterans, including volunteer opportunities, news and a list of carefully screened organizations which provide direct help to vets in need of assistance.
"This is a big deal, not just talk, but real stuff that you can do," Craig Newmark, the founder of Craigslist, writes on HuffPo's Impact section. "The deal is to start now, and to keep doing it on an ongoing basis, supporting vets not only on Veterans Day."
