Stranded for three, count 'em, three whole days on a luxury liner. I wonder if the Chilean miners are impressed.

You forgot the Achille Lauro in 1985.

The ship was hijacked by the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) between Alexandria and Port Said. The terrorists held the passengers and crew hostage and forced the ship to sail to Tartus, Syria, and demanded the release of 50 Palestinians then in Israeli prisons.

After being refused permission to dock at Tartus, the hijackers killed wheelchair-bound Jewish-American passenger Leon Klinghoffer in front of his wife and other passengers, and then threw his body overboard.
