WoW Insider has the latest on the upcoming WoW: Cataclysm expansion!

The Queue: Hope

Welcome back to The Queue, the daily Q&A column in which the WoW Insider team answers your questions about the World of Warcraft. Mike Sacco will be your host today.

We'll be seeing a lot of this lady before too long, though she'll go by a different name.

Saroc asked:

Will the flight paths we have from vanilla WoW be removed in Cata or will they automatically changed to their new appropriate flight masters?
You'll keep any unchanged flight paths, changed flight paths will update to their new location, and you will not automatically know paths that are completely new for Cataclysm.

Bluskale asked:

What zones are most worth spending time in now while leveling (from the perspective of getting new content)?

Nearly every zone is changed in some major way, making them worth visiting, but I have to recommend the following zones or zone clusters:
  • Tirisfal Glades/Silverpine Forest/Hillsbrad
  • Redridge Mountains
  • Western Plaguelands
  • Burning Steppes
  • Ashenvale/Stonetalon Mountains/Southern Barrens
  • Winterspring

Kushanu asked:

Will the Scepter of the Shifting Sands still be obtainable once the world goes boom? Or will the changes to Azshara make it impossible to finish the quest?

The Scepter quest line is removed in Cataclysm.

JT asked:

No coverage of the Best Buy dev chat?

In brief: no good questions, no good answers.

ArO asked:

Why are Ysera's eyes open in Cata?

Her eyes open when Big Stuff is going down, and Big Stuff is indeed going down.
