Former First Lady Barbara Bush To Sarah Palin: Stay In Alaska
Former First Lady Barbara Bush is certainly not known for mincing words, though this may be one of the more subtle hints she’s thrown down in a while. Speaking alongside her husband, President George H. W. Bush, to Larry King in an exclusive interview, she delivered a doubled-edged critique of Sarah Palin– “She’s beautiful,” she tells King, but “she’s very happy in Alaska, and I hope she’ll stay there.”

‘World’s Worsts’ Goes Retro: Olbermann Gives Pres. Bush The Crown For WMD Claims
When Keith Olbermann promised to temporarily discontinue his "World's Worsts" segment, many of his biggest fans (and cable news die-hards in general) lamented the segment's passing. Savvy internet readers, however, have already gotten a taste for what's in store thanks to Gawker, which scrounged up some leaked pages and posted them last Tuesday. While the excerpts didn't tell us anything we didn't know about Palin already-- she is proud of her family, supports the Tea Party-- the book's publisher, Harper Collins, is not happy and has sent their lawyers after Gawker for leaking the text.
Colbert Belatedly Gives NPR Staffer The Medal Of Fear She Rightfully Deserves
Stephen Colbert awarded NPR with a Medal of Fear at the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear last month. Because nobody from that organization was ostensibly at the rally (though there were, in fact, NPR journalists covering the event on the ground), Colbert ended up giving the medal to a random seven-year-old girl. But now, after 20 medal-less days, a brave NPR staffer has finally obtained the award and brought it home to her company's headquarters in Washington, D.C.
