Glenn Beck Goes After Barbara Bush, Calling Her The “Oatmeal Box Lady”
Glenn Beck was not happy with Barbara Bush’s oh-so-thinly veiled attack on Sarah Palin from over the weekend. Although he says the former first lady is his “favorite Bush,” he called her comments “really insulting” and called her the “oatmeal box lady,” apparently comparing her to the man in the Quaker Oats logo (Who, it turns out, isn’t William Penn. Huh. You learn something new every day).

The story retired teacher Thomas Sawyer tells of his experience at the hands of a TSA officer at Detroit's airport makes you want to scream at the TSA agent and give Mr. Sawyer a hug--and now TSA Chief John Pistole has called to apologize. Sawyer, a cancer survivor, lost his bladder and has a urostomy bag attached to his body under his clothing. When a body scanner picked up the bag, Sawyer was pulled out for an enhanced pat down. As Sawyer recounted the story Monday on CNN's American Morning, what happened next was avoidable--and humiliating:

As such, the fact that Sarah Palin is now searching for an office in Des Moines, IA, has people raising their eyebrows right off of their foreheads. People like The Guardian, who report that two of Palin's aides are "looking into office space and other logistical needs for the coming year." Let the horror and/or some amusement begin! Obama’s Joke About Going To Visit Hugo Chavez Doesn’t Go Over Very Well
It seems that an excess of time zone-shifting may have addled President Obama's brain after his latest trip to Lisbon. On Twitter, reporters Mark Knoller of CBS and Ed Henry of CNN both wrote that as Air Force One was flying back to Washington on Friday, Obama stopped by the press cabin and joked about having the plane stop in South America so that he could pay a visit to Hugo Chavez.
