Glenn Beck has made clear that he believes Billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros is gunning for an American revolution, (of some sort.) Last night, Jon Stewart took Beck’s very own logic and turned it on Fox News and the controversial host, arguing that perhaps Glenn Beck is a far more dangerous entity, labeling him “The Manchurian Lunatic.” An epic two-part take down that is equal parts funny satire and searing media criticism, after the jump.

Yesterday, Sen. Jay Rockefeller took a page from Ted Koppel’s book by saying that he wouldn’t mind saying “goodbye” to Fox News and MSNBC. Just like Koppel received harsh rebuttals from Bill O’Reilly and Keith Olbermann, Glenn Beck was ready to respond to Rockefeller, comparing a government wanting to shut down the media to bank robbers asking for less police.

Mediaite has learned Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity are being dropped from their Philadelphia radio station, WPHT 1210 (The Big Talker), in January.

The station is a CBS affiliate, and Philadelphia is the fourth largest radio market.

Bill O’Reilly’s “Did You See That” segment is fast resembling a humorous conversation between a tech-savvy kid trying to explain to their great-grandfather how to use e-mail and other newfangled contraptions. In discussing the results of a survey regarding the favorite television shows of Democrats and Republicans, correspondent Juliet Huddy was shocked to learn O’Reilly hardly knew anything about the most popular shows. She patiently informed him that Dexter is a serial killer, Mad Men star Jon Hamm is good looking and The Amazing Race is a feel-good show.

MTV sat down with the cast of the four young stars of the upcoming Harry Potter movie (and all the past Harry Potter movies) for a funny segment teaching the British actors about America.

What did they learn? Everything from “Glenn Beck” to “mozzarella sticks.”

Minutes after we predicted that George Soros‘ comments at a meeting with progressive donors would fuel speculation about a 2012 Democratic primary challenge to President Obama, Countdown host Keith Olbermann interviewed HuffPo’s Sam Stein, and asked him just that. While both Stein and columnist E.J. Dionne successively threw cold water on the  suggestion, Countdown’s producers labeled the segment “If Not Obama…?”

Of course, we thought Glenn Beck and company would be fanning these flames, not Olbermann. Is Keith Olbermann ready to ditch Barack Obama?

Kajillionaire activist, Media Matters funder, and to hear Glenn Beck tell it, Puppetmaster of the coming One World Government George Soros is reportedly pulling on some strings. According to reporting by HuffPo’s Sam Stein, Soros told a private gathering of progressive donors that “Democratic donors (should) direct their support somewhere other than the President.”

Glenn Beck really doesn’t care about Prince William’s engagement to Kate Middleton (or Prince Harry’s to Princess Leia, or Prince Jake to Princess Buttercup, or any of the other hilarious faux-mistakes he made during today’s program). However, after he was done his explaining just how little he does care about it, he explained that he does care about the media covering it instead of TSA’s new security measures. That he cares about a lot.

Now that Glenn Beck is satisfied that he was right about all that gold stuff, he’s moving on to a new way for his viewers to save up money for the coming doom and gloom right around the corner; sell your stuff. Pointing out that American families have tons of unused items in their houses and that prices of food and clothes may soon be rising exponentially, Beck proposed that his audience begin selling and using the money to invest wisely.

Yesterday when Glenn Beck showed off the clip of the SNL sketch that said he was right about gold, it was kind of charming how excited he was. However, a day later, seeing the Fox & Friends team get even more excited about it is kind of weird. It’s just strange seeing people get such a kick out of their friend being mentioned on a TV show when every one of them is on TV literally every day. Besides, this is still a joke from a comedy show. Do you think the editors of Cat Fancy got this psyched when SNL proved definitively that cats could drive cars?

While only time will tell in us seeing whether or not George Soros will bring about a terrifying One World Government, the jury seems to have a verdict ready on one of Glenn Beck’s other pet predictions: that whole gold thing. With prices of gold on the rise, it looks like Beck might be able to put this one in the win column. Of course, Beck wasn’t going to stoop to explicitly saying a big fat “I told you so” on national television. Nope. He let SNL’s Bill Hader do it for him.

Glenn Beck’s “Puppetmaster” specials on businessman George Soros have caught Bill O’Reilly’s attention. Specifically, O’Reilly would love to know all about the “shadow government” Soros leads, who is in it, and how they operate. Beck was short on those specific details in last night’s Factor segment, but he assured O’Reilly that Soros was worth the three-hour special.

Yesterday, Anti-Defamation League’s Abe Foxman blasted Glenn Beck for making “completely inappropriate, offensive and over the top” remarks about George Soros. But just a few weeks ago, according to Beck’s site The Blaze, Foxman was singing a different tune. On October 22, the ADL bigwig sent Beck a personal letter in which he apologized for mistakenly lumping the Fox News host in with a list of anti-Semitic celebrities.

Yesterday, Glenn Beck finished his week-long exposé on billionaire George Soros. Calling him the “Puppet Master,” the majority of Beck’s attacks revolved around following Soros’ money and listing the enormous amount of organizations that are seemingly in the man’s pocket while theorizing what Soros could be using them for in his goal to bring about a one world government. However, Justin Elliott over at Salon has tugged on one of the puppet strings that Beck left out and has found someone unexpected at the end: Randy Scheunemann, Republican lobbyist and Sarah Palin’s foreign policy adviser.

What’s with all the recent inappropriate Nazi comparisons? On Tuesday, liberal radio host Mike Malloy likened George W. Bush to Hitler. Now, Glenn Beck has drawn the ire of the Anti-Defamation League by claiming that Jewish billionaire George Soros played a role in the Holocaust.
