LeBron’s “Rise” Nike Ad Brilliantly Mashed Up With Michael Jordan Nike Ad (Video)

LeBron James‘ “Rise” Nike ad has been dissected and parodied endlessly since it originally aired a month ago, but as of yesterday, we’re now witnesses to one of the most creative looks at the commercial yet – with the help of a different ad starring the man to whom LeBron’s probably most often compared, Michael Jordan.

A while ago, Jordan shot an ad (also for Nike) in which he says, “Maybe it’s my fault” that people thought they could Be Like Mike without working hard (“Maybe I led you to believe that basketball was a God-given gift, and not something I worked for every single day of my life”). Enterprising Youtube user RawSports330, though, noticed that some of Jordan’s comments fit quite well in LeBron’s ad, particularly when LeBron is laying waste to a court in a bulldozer:

“Maybe I destroyed the game. Or maybe…you’re just making excuses.”

Ouch.
