people.com:

Pax Jolie-Pitt got to see plenty of Paris on Sunday, from the air and the water, while celebrating his 7th birthday a day early with his family.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made a full day of it with their kids -- minus the 2-year-old twins -- starting with a hot-air balloon ride and finishing with a party cruise on a riverboat.

He is going to be a megastar one day. He has that something. Once he hits 15, watch out - he is going to take the acting world by storm.

I'm trying to figure out the hair. But he is a very handsome kid.

yeah, did they really take their kid to have the front of his hair bleached? ah well, whatever works. sort of remind of the little Korean kids that would have their hair permed and dyed at 2

It's always surprising to hear others say things like' they're just like a real family, enjoying their children, doing things together' etc. They ARE a real family. Just because they are famous doesn't mean they don't have to eat, and shop and go to the park.

What a nice day for the family and the little guy for his birthday. At least, they aren't pretentious Beverly Hills people like that woman, Taylor, on the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She threw a $60,000 birthday bash for her little girl, who looked four. It looked more like a party for all the adults and they all have to one up each other.
jaslyn   03:17 PM on 11/29/2010
exactly. That was a freak show to end all freak shows. That party was for the mom; that kid would have enjoyed having 3 kids over for a pool party.

That housewife is perfect evidence for why the super rich should be taxed more! I felt so bad for the little girl who was clearly miserable. If the housewife was taxed an extra $55,000 a year then she would still have $5000 to throw a lavish birthday party for her daughter. No one would suffer at all, on the contrary, we'd be doing her a favor because maybe the little girl would have actually been happy at a smaller simpler party. $60000 for a child's birthday party is obscene!

He is a doll!! But I'm biased because my own son is a little cutie from Vietnam as well. Also have a soft spot for Maddox for the same reason! When he was a baby/toddler, he looked a lot like my own baby. What can I say? I can't resist a cute guy!?!

How very cool! What a great thing to be able to give your love to a child who otherwise might not receive any at all. Fan #75.

Age appropriate, kid oriented family time. How refreshing. I may not be fans of some of their films, but they seem to do a lot of hands on "regular" kid things with their children. They don't treat them like little adults.

I'm surprised they didn't go to the top of the Eiffel Tower as a birthday treat. I'd guess one of the kids is afraid of heights, but they went on the hot air balloon ride.

going to the top of the eiffel tower wouldn't be much of a treat for a young kid. in fact most kids would not like that until maybe their teens. I think that the activities that were chosen were more to their kids liking which is what birthday parties should be.

wolfiegirl   01:30 PM on 11/29/2010
Actually, my kid would give anything to do it. But what you said is probably exactly what happened.

The Hot Air Balloon ride may have been the Birthday boy's wish.
I'll bet they had the best time.

Im deathly afraid of heights, so I would not want to do either, but for kids that are not afraid of heights, I think the hot air balloon would be what most would pick
millebocca   02:36 PM on 11/29/2010
