This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in clinical research. In recognition of the immediate and growing importance of diabetes to public health in the UK, the Diabetes Research Network has been established by the DoH through the UK Clinical Research Network (UKCRN). There are eight Local Research Networks across England, one of which is the Eastern Region Local Diabetes Research Network (EDLRN). The goal of the network is to achieve benefits for people with diabetes, or at risk of developing diabetes, through excellence in clinical research.

You will play a key role in enhancing standards of care through the ongoing development of diabetes research.This is a unique opportunity to be a part of the well-established clinical and research team.Your role will involve facilitating and supporting various research projects including recruitment, education and monitoring of research participants/patients and the collection and documentation of accurate data.

You will have good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratviely with the study team, clinical team, the general practices and the wider multidisciplinary team in the region. You need to be be a registered Nurse or General Nurse, with a strong interest in research. Excellent communication skills are required with fine attention to detail.
