AppleInsider accepting resumes for new part-time, full-time editors

AppleInsider is looking for talented, tech-savvy individuals who are well spoken in all things Apple to join its team in covering the exciting and always-evolving world of Macs, iPhones, iPods, iPads and whatever else might be just around the corner.

Ideal candidates should be comfortable with the pressures of near-instant deadlines, constantly breaking news, and the necessity of being clear, concise, and accurate above all else. Prior experience writing for online or print publications is a must, as is a broad familiarity and passion for Apple's products and services. Knowledge of AP style general news writing, HTML and basic photo editing are a plus.

These are challenging but rewarding position that will require you to be on top of breaking news as it happens in the afternoon and evening hours eastern time, and occasionally over the weekend. A writer based out of the west coast, or in Europe would be ideal (given the hours of availability required), but this is not a necessity.

AppleInsider is accepting resumes for feature and review editors, part time editors, full time editors, and part time editors who can quickly evolve into full-time editors based on performance. In addition to coverage of all-things Apple, AppleInsider is also seeking candidates who are passionate about the broader mobile and electronics industry, which comprises many of Apple's partners and adversaries.

If you think you have what it takes to to become a valuable member of AppleInsider's editorial staff, please send your resume and two to three sample clips that best represent your work to jobs [at] appleinsider [dot] com. Resumes saved and submitted in PDF format are preferred.

Please include "AppleInsider Editorial Position" in the subject of your email. In the body of your messages, please include full contact information, the type of position you're seeking, your age, any specific salary requirements and considerations, the times of day (in eastern time) when you're available, and your preferred focus area: Apple or the broader electronics and mobile industries.

Unfortunately, given the number of applicants we receive, we will not be able to respond to everyone individually. If your credentials catch our eye, we'll be in touch shortly.

Thanks,

The AppleInsider Team
