Colin has now been with the Gunners for over 15 years and season 2010/11 will be his third at the helm of the medical department.
Highly skilled, dedicated and very popular with staff and players alike, Colin has all the attributes required for his position of great responsibility at the football club.
The medical department continues to ensure Arsène Wenger’s players have the highest calibre treatment, rehabilitation and conditioning at all times.
The structure of the medical department has changed somewhat under Colin’s stewardship, following his cousin Gary Lewin’s departure for a full-time position with England.
A significant development sees two physios – David Wales and Simon Harland – working permanently from the training ground to ensure each player’s recovery is monitored and treated with the maximum efficiency.
In addition, a third masseur has joined the team this season, and consultation relationships with nutritionists and other sports medicine researchers have been implemented by Colin.
A chartered physiotherapist, he graduated from Brighton university in 1995.
