Evan Blass
Current device: iPhone 4, Droid X
Future device: Motorola Atrix 4G
Hailing from the Northeast, Evan is a lifelong enthusiast of portable gadgets -- the type of person who preferred GoBots to Transformers because they were easier to carry in your pocket. While his time spent as senior editor of Engadget nearly robbed him of his interest in consumer electronics, his passion for smartphones never once wavered. An early Treo 600 adoptee, Evan soon made the transition to Windows Mobile, and is planning another major life change in the near future: acquiring an Android-powered device. He has always been of the mindset that OS loyalty is overrated, and that hardware is king. Evan is a graduate of Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, having studied political science and economics.
