QuickFacts now allows you to find out the county or counties in which a place is located. Select the
link 'Locate a county by place name' from any state or county QuickFacts page to search for a city or town in a specific state or all states.
QuickFacts now offers you quick FACTS as well as quick links.
The links to more detailed data are still there: just click
on the icon or link in the upper right corner of the page.
Comparative figures help put the numbers in context. For
each county, comparable state numbers are displayed; for
state QuickFacts, comparable U.S. numbers are displayed.
Easier navigation
Pull-down menus allow you to select a county by name without
loading a "text only" page.
You can still select an area using a map.
Access to definitions and background information
The icon next to each data item links to a citation of
the data source, definitions of terms, notes on the scope
and methodology, and the availability of more data.
