website and courses
Hi Bill
Congratulations on a very informative and easy to use website. I particularly enjoyed the article on the Lyre of Ur which is fascinating.
Thanks again for a terrific wire harp course which I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn to play the wire harp. It was inspirational!

Musica
A Masterpiece CD.
If ever there was a musical "time capsule" for the human condition, this would be it.
Informed, scholarly interpretation, coupled with masterful, sympathetic performance and an emotional understanding that makes this an approachable window on our past and invites us to look through one of the many possible windows into the future.

Two Worlds of Welsh Harp
Hi, I have recently acquired a copy of your CD "Two Worlds of the Welsh Harp" and am enjoying it thoroughly, especially the Robert Ap Huw pieces. I am a bagpiper and a piobaireachd player, and I find the similarities between piobaireachd and some of the Huw compositions fascinating. (First pointed out to me on an episode of the BBC Pipeline program.) Also fascinating is the fact that the Huw compositions were written down some 200 years before any piobaireachds were. I have always been told that the piobaireachd form was indigenous to the Scottish Highlands; perhaps this is not true...

Strathconon Burns Supper
Dear Bill & James ('Art of Musick'),
On behalf of the Strathconon Burns Supper Committee, I should like to thank you both for your magnificent & sensitive performance of Burns songs & tunes on Friday. We have had an enormous amount of positive feedback from our guests, all of whom enjoyed a great evening. Your contribution helped ensure the success of the event, at which we raised £1140 for our charities. Many thanks!

Hello from Australia
Hello Bill,
I have great memories of my beginner's harp course with you many years ago, and have moved through five harps, beginning with the Duplin kit I brought home to Australia. Now I play a concert grand harp, but still tinker on my Duplin. Thank you Bill!
