Adhesion Testers

Adhesion Testers are an important instrument for determining how well a coating bonds to a substrate or how well an adhesive bonds two materials. Coatings are becoming more popular as engineering requirements demand higher levels of performance from components. For coatings to perform satisfactorily, they must adhere to the substrates on which they are applied. A variety of recognized methods can be used to determine how well a coating is bonded to the substrate. Commonly used measuring techniques are performed with a knife or with a pull-on pull-off adhesion tester.

ADMET Micro EP Miniature Universal Testing Machine

This hydraulic pull-off type tester is fitted with a flexible hose, so that test can be performed on difficult to reach area, e.g. internal or external pipe surfaces.

Elcometer 1941 PAT GM04 Adhesion Testers 20 & 40kN

A 20 or 40 kN manual hydraulic tensile adhesion tester for testing of coatings (including thermal sprayed coatings), on test panels, sprayed components.
