Guidelines

Engagements, Weddings, and Anniversaries are published for a charge in The Indianapolis Star weekly in the Indy Living section.

Announcements must be received by 9 am Monday to be published the following Sunday.

If the announcement includes a photograph, a sharp close-up is preferred, no smaller than 3"x5". Instant photos are not accepted. Black-and-white or color photos are acceptable.

All announcements must be prepaid. Major credit cards, checks, or money orders are accepted.

All announcement forms must be signed by one of the principals (bride, groom, parent, engaged couple, anniversary couple).

The Indianapolis Star reserves the right to revise, edit or reject copy and photographs to meet The Star quality standards. All announcements will be verified.
