"Father of Human-Powered Flight" to get memorial at his Rose Bowl test site

PASADENA - Anyone talking about history being made at the Rose Bowl probably has college football in mind.
Less well known is that aviation pioneer and inventor Paul B. MacCready tested the first successful human-powered flight on the grassy field south of the stadium, just down the road from his home of 50 years.
His widow and three sons are ready to change that....
