The APA’s Caucus on Complementary, Alternative & Integrative Medicine is a component of psychiatrists who are interested in the integrative medicine treatment of psychiatric disorders. Integrative medicine is the practice of medicine that combines conventional medical treatments with nonconventional (“alternative” or “complementary”) ones.
