Another year, another hundred or so draft beers, and this year it’s a tie, the first one in the however many years we’ve been doing this (it’s a little hazy), so we salute the proprietors of Holy Frijoles and previous Coldest Draft Beer Champ Sportsman’s Spot for their Outstanding Achievement in Refreshment Excellence, City Paper’s never-ending search for beautiful, lip-numbing brew on tap, the kind you want when The Land of Pleasant Living turns brutally hot, like you know it will. Like you hope it will.

Results based on findings of members of the profoundly unscientific CITY PAPER I-TEAM™ wandering around the city, dropping a dependable COMARK 300NSF/B digital thermometer into a glass, cup, or other suitable (and legal, according to all laws and ordinances) vessel full of beer and recording the results somewhere, usually a napkin, did you see that napkin that had all that stuff written on it? It’s very important . . .
