This mapping feature allows Fall River residents and those from its surrounding
towns to report nonemergency civic problems. It’s a part of the nationwide
Government 2.0 movement and uses the internet to solve more tangible,
real-life problems. It’s really cool, and I suggest checking it out
and posting an issue yourself.
Example: my home is on a corner where
there is no stop sign. It’s an accident waiting to happen, and only
those who live in my neighborhood know enough to pump the brakes before
zipping through. So I reported it, and you can too.
Potholes, eye sores, rundown parks or anything else you might think of.
It’s the gateway to improvements. We’re turning citizen complainers
into neighborhood fixers and hoping to help fix Fall River with some
digital elbow grease.
There once was a special circle reserved for the
couch potato. Now, you’re empowered as a champion. So sit down and get
going.
