The Telegraph's monthly YouGov poll is published on Saturday. The fieldwork for the poll was done after some hefty political developments, not least the nationalisation of Northern Rock.

Once, optimistic Tories thought the Rock would provide Gordon's Black Wednesday moment.  Not on the evidence of this poll.

No more details now, but let's just say the poll reminds David Cameron of the work he still has to do. 

Oh, and it probably won't make for happy reading in Speaker's House either…..
