Did the Guardian take money from the BNP?

Surely some mistake.  This looks very much like a job ad for the British National Party being carried on the Guardian's website.

And this looks like another one.

But that could mean that the Guardian had entered into some sort of commercial relationship with the BNP.  Did the paper take money from the BNP to carry these ads?

I think we should be told.

PS: I've just put this to the Guardian press office, who are looking into it. I wonder if the Guardian will say the ad was technically placed by the London Assembly and not the BNP? More soon

PPS: a nice lady from the Guardian calls back to say that the ads were indeed paid for by the Greater London Assembly. Guardian News & Media has "certainly not" taken money from the BNP, she says. The ads will remain on the site, which will presumably please the BNP.
