Survivor Heroes vs. Villains episode 7: Rob gets voted out

Created on: April 02, 2010

When Tyson was voted off on Survivor: Heroes vs Villains in episode 6, some on the Villains' team felt the team wouldn’t survive.  Others thought the removal of Tyson was the best thing to happen to the Villains.  Many Survivor fans were hoping for the removal of Russell who seems to be the most manipulative of the group.  Thanks to Russell’s double talk – Tyson went home because of his own vote but the Villains' team still just couldn’t get their act together this week.  In episode 7, the Villains once gain faced tribal council to vote out one of their fellow teammates.

It was fairly obvious during the game that this team just couldn’t work together.  Their weakest link, Courtney, put the team behind during the competition.  Their goal was to run a short obstacle course and collect bags which contained puzzle pieces.  Once all of the bags were collected, two members of the team would put the puzzle together.

The Villains' team not only struggled to collect the bags but their two member team couldn’t catch up with the Hero’s team to place all of the puzzle pieces together.  It is clear throughout this competition that the Villains' team just doesn’t know how to work together.  While the ultimate goal is to be the last person standing – the Survivors must work together during the challenges in order to get to that ultimate goal.  But because this team just couldn’t get their act together, the Villains faced tribal council yet another time.

Both Rob and Russell talked the talk – trying to get others to vote their way.  Jerri who was caught in the middle, didn’t know who to vote off.  Russell stated that he felt Courtney should be voted out because she was the weakest person on the team but who he finally voted for was not known.  One thing was for sure – Rob voted to have Russell thrown out.  In the end, the team members that were voted to be thrown off were 4 votes for Rob, 3 for Russell, and 1 vote for Courtney.  Rob handed over his torch and left, making him the 7th Survivor member to be voted out.  Voters had predicted that Courtney would be the one to go home - unlike last week, viewers were wrong.

Member left of the Villains' team are Danielle, Russell, Jerri, Parvati, Sandra, Coach, and Courtney.  Those remaining on the Heroes' team include Amanda, Candice, Colby, JT, and Rupert.  With Rob gone, Russell will finally has his chance to start picking off the Villains' team one by one – that is unless the Villains use their heads and get rid of him first!
