Playlist: 10 tracks you need to hear

Estelle: 'Back To Love'
After spending a considerable amount of time in the States, we're pleased to report that Estelle has officially returned to the UK - even lending her support to one Misha B at The X Factor studios last night. 'Back To Love' marks the first major release from her long-awaited third studio album, and picks up nicely where 2008's criminally underrated Shine left off. RC
One Direction: 'Got To Be You'
Wasting no time after their record-breaking debut single 'What Makes You Beautiful', 1D are poised to melt teenage girls' hearts nationwide once again with 'Got To Be You'. A slower affair than their previous hit, the track is a puppy love song of fist-clenching strings and finger-clicking beats. The cut will be available from November 13, while their debut album will follow a week later. LC
War of Words: 'Panic'
Say hello to Abi Browning and Lucy Duffield aka War of Words; a duo whose trendy points just tripled after signing to Popjustice's Hi-Fi label for their debut, double A-side release. That said, since they'd managed to rope in La Roux's Ben Langmaid on to produce the track, something tells us they were pretty damn cool in the first place. 'Panic' and 'Battleground' are out December 4. RC
Sound of Arrows: 'Wonders'
Playlist favourites Sound of Arrows have finally readied their debut LP Voyage, which is out November 7. Its latest cut 'Wonders' is another widescreen pop number that envelopes you with its dreamy synths and sonic melodies. RC
Nicole Scherzinger: 'Try With Me'
After four singles from her debut Killer Love, Nic Scherzy will repackage the collection with new material including the new single 'Try With Me'. After an intro of piano tinkling, the former PCD quickly reverts the track back to her familiar club-thumping sound. 'Try With Me' will be available to download on October 30, while the new Killer Love will follow on November 14. LC
Cher Lloyd: 'Stay'
Never one to miss a sales opportunity, Simon Cowell will offer Cher Lloyd's memorable rendition of the Shakespears Sister classic 'Stay' as a free download if you pre-order the teen's debut album Sticks + Stones from her official website. The re-swizzle still features Lloyd's emotional and haunting vocal, while the original strings are replaced by on-trend synth progressions and urban beats. LC
Coldplay: 'Princess of China'
One of the most surprising hook-ups of 2011 comes in the form of a Coldplay and Rihanna love song. 'Princess Of China' is an airy and empyrean composition of melancholic guitars and breezy synths. The track features on Coldplay's new album Mylo Xyloto, which is out now. LC
Charli XCX: 'Nuclear Seasons'
Much like her online smash 'Stay Away', the 18-year-old's follow-up is another impressive slice of goth-pop that's certain to keep tongues wagging until her debut album. Co-produced by Diplo collaborator Ariel Rechtshaid, Charli says the song is about "a sense of decay. Whether it be about the decaying of love... or life. It's about being lost and frozen and surviving." 'Nuclear Seasons' is officially released on November 21. RC
Kelly Rowland: 'Down For Whatever'
After unleashing Here I Am in the US back in the summer, Ms. Kelly is now ready to put it down in the UK with an international release of the album. Leading the campaign is RedOne-helmed 'Down For Whatever', a boombastic club-storm of reverberating bass and euro-trance synths. The single will be available to download on November 21. LC
Oh Land: 'White Nights'
After a series of frustrating delays, Danish star Oh Land finally puts out her eponymous debut album in the UK on November 21. Heading it up is 'White Nights': a feather-light electronic-pop ditty with an earworm of a chorus to boot. Watch the stunning music video below: RC
