In preparation for Brookfield’s $250 million redevelopment of the World Financial Center, some retail and dining establishments will be closing or relocating. As of September 28, the following stores have closed: Ciao Bella Gelato and Gap. Hallmark has relocated to the Mezzanine Level (next to Ann Taylor) and is currently open. Additional changes will be forthcoming and construction is slated to begin in early November.

The changes are part of Brookfield’s effort to expand and enhance the WFC’s retail offerings, which will include high-end fashion, a European-style marketplace and waterfront dining.

Please note that the four dining kiosks on the outdoor waterfront plaza will remain open through the end of October.
