Ahmedabad Indian skipper M S Dhoni today made it clear ahead of the team's high-intensity World Cup quarterfinal against Australia that there was no love lost between him and the mediapersons and his match-eve media briefings were conducted as they were mandatory.

"Less exposure is less of controversy. It is better off to keep it to the bare minimum," he said when asked whether there was a breakdown in communication between the Indian team and the media at the mandatory match-eve conference here today.

"It is how we have managed in the last one, one and a half years. We always provide cricketers before the game or on the eve of the match day. May be you are requesting because it's a big tournament. If you see the past we have been following the same rule," he said.

"We are doing whatever is compulsory. We are not doing anything extra. Let's stick to the game. I'm not here to comment on relations of media with the players," he said when agitated media persons fired questions at him why when other teams were willing to send one of their teammates to talk to the media, his team did not follow the same procedure.
