I think the enormous silence from these forums is prooff enough that Silverlight for Symbian isn't going anywhere useful. It is my opinion that Microsoft realized that Symbian was competition to Windows Phone sometime shortly after release this S^1 version
of Silverlight for Symbian. I am also guessing that since last fall, when Elop took over the helm at Nokia, that he and Balmer decided to let Silverlight for Symbian die a slow death from lack of resources commitment etc... What they failed to account for
is the attitude of Nokia/Symbian faithful (users and developers) who are most likely to be unhappy with the Windows Phone platform. I may be wrong, but the lack of support for Silverlight on Symbian, along with the announcement of Nokia dropping Symbian has
likely caused a significant number of Developers to start sharpening their iOS or Android developement skills and to turn away from Symbian in general (and Silverlight specifically). Note that I say a significant number (I am sure there are some, like a few
of you who are posting here) who would like to move forward with it, but likely will not be able to. You have a decision to make, sharpen your Silverlight and Windows Phone developement skills or move to another phone OS platform (Windows Phone, iOS, or Android).
The questions is, which platform. Do you want doubtful, closed, or open ? Best of luck in making that decision and moving forward.

Any plans at Microsoft to have SilverLight for Symbian^3 (Nokia N8,E7,C7) ?
From what I understand this version of Silverlight 2 is only available on Symbian^1 (s60v5).
Will MS create a Silverlight 4 port for Symbian^3 ?

I second this question - with the new strategic partership between Maicrosoft and Nokia, shouldn't Silverlight be benefit from?
