System overview
Softage MP2 is a powerful software platform for multimedia content aggregation and delivery to mobile phones. The platform automates process of large scale delivery of text, images, and audio/video files to a wide range of mobile phones including smartphones. The platform is designed for GSM networks and will support CDMA and 3G networks in the near future.
The core of platform can be used for different purposes related to delivery of multimedia content to cell phones. Content providers can use the platform to deliver a variety of multimedia content. Telecom operators can use the platform to provide additional Value-Added services to their subscribers. Large companies can use the platform as a large scale internal corporate information delivery system.
At the present moment Softage LLC has implemented a Mobile Multimedia Advertising Platform based on Softage MP2 technology.

Softage offers unique new service - mobile advertising using its innovative Multimedia Advertising Platform.
The platform provides convenient interfaces and tools for advertisers. Advertiser can create and manage his campaign online via specialized Portal. He can select a type of multimedia (image/text/video/audio) and type of delivery (SMS, MMS, and WAP Push). Also Softage offers possibility to target advertising campaigns based on end user preferences and current geographical location.
Advertiser can track campaign status online. Billing system is set up to facilitate payments between advertisers and advertising service provider.
The service is convenient and attractive for end users. There are special WAP and Internet Portals up for end users. They can create profiles; subscribe to select categories of advertisement, view their balance online. Existing business model suggests incentive bonus for end users for viewing advertisements.
Technical data
The platform is implemented using J2EE technology and Oracle database.
The core of the platform is a high performance Oracle database, containing data about subscribers, their subscription status and stats of viewing the advertisement.
The web part of the platform includes modules designed for mobile operators, ad agencies and advertisers. It includes the following components: administrative part, Content Management System, and billing/payment system.
