An east Londoner with a Moroccan father, Samir is a product of the Hale End Academy.
Comfortable playing left-back or left midfield, and with a good left foot and good physique, Samir uses his searing pace to good effect in either position.
The teenager, who first played for Arsenal at the age of eight, was a regular for the Under-18s last term, making 18 appearances, and featured in the FA Youth Cup.
He was also part of the squad that travelled to America for the Dallas Cup late last season.
