Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City PS3, X360/$59.99/March 20 When a swarm of zombies devoured most of the population of Raccoon City, the remaining citizens were left to fend for themselves and pray for survival. Hoping to contain any news of the outbreak, Umbrella Corp., the creator of the T-virus responsible for the undead apocalypse, has sent a squad of Security Services soldiers into the sleepy town with guns at the ready. The government, curious about the undead using Raccoon City as an all-you-can-eat buffet, has sent its own team, hoping to determine the source of the plague. With two squads of highly trained and armed soldiers entering a contained battlefield filled with ravenous zombies, the only result can be chaos and bloodshed.

"Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City" is a third-person shooter that places players in the zombie-filled universe of Capcom's successful franchise. The game's single-player campaign will have you taking on the role of an Umbrella Security Services soldier as you attempt to destroy evidence and assassinate survivors, protecting your company's name in the process. Multiplayer modes are also available, creating a frantic player-versus-player environment that will not only pit teams against each other but against the unending waves of zombies as well.

Playing through the plot from another angle is sure to breathe life into this 16-year-old franchise, but basing the game in the fan-favorite town of Raccoon City will have zombie slayers lined up to buy Capcom's latest in wide-eyed droves.

Kinect Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure X360/$49.99/March 20 In the latest family-friendly game for the Xbox 360 Kinect, players will find themselves placed in the animated shoes of the Pixar characters as they compete in minigames based on their movies. With a library that includes "The Incredibles," "Up," "Ratatouille," "Cars" and "Toy Story," there's no end to the virtual mischief your character can cause. This can range from simple driving and flying events to the more complex, such as fighting giant robots or hurling tomatoes as a last defense against an evil chef.

Over the years, Disney and Pixar have become masters at bringing families together. Now the magic is headed to your console with the immersion, interactivity and gameplay that Kinect owners have come to love.
