How do I access the digital edition of Science News?
Subscribers have full online access to the early digital edition of the current print magazine. You must have verified your subscription by logging into our website and entering your subscriber number into your profile. Once you have done that, from the SN home page, click on the Digital Edition link under the image of the magazine cover.
How do I access an article that’s more than one year old?
Anyone can read articles published in the last 12 months for free on www.sciencenews.org. But only subscribers can access articles published more than a year ago. The Science News online archive contains all the content from the print editions from 2000 to the present. You must have verified your subscription by logging into our website and entering your subscriber number into your profile.

Science News and Society for Science and the Public limits its financial liability of all subscription orders to the amount received for the subscription order. For agency orders, our liability is limited to the amount a subscription agent remits to us for a subscription. If you choose to cancel your order during the course of your subscription, we will refund the value of the unfulfilled portion of your subscription directly to you unless your order is an agency order. In the case of agency orders, the value of the unfulfilled portion of your subscription order will be remitted directly to the subscription agency who remitted the order. Science News and Society for Science and the Public are not responsible for any damages, costs, or loss arising from a subscribers’ transaction with subscription agents.

Book review policy: We will only consider books if they have been published in the current calendar year, or within two months of when the book is submitted. Please send review copies only of books, no more than six weeks after release. If the book is chosen for review, the book publisher will be sent two copies of the relevant Science News issue by regular mail.
