Remember the Rolling Western. Nintendo's 3DS strategy download was showcased at E3 but we've heard nothing of it until today when it was confirmed that Dillon's Rolling Western will be released in early 2012.

It may have a new moniker but Dillon's Rolling Western sticks to the same idea. Mixing action and strategy, you play as a cowboy armadillo who rolls over his enemies in the wild west.

Do you like the sound of Dillon's Rolling Western? Will you download it from the 3DS eShop.

Also on the way to the eShop soon are 3D Classics: Kirby's Adventure and .

Where'd the "dillion" come from?

@zapper01: Dillon is derived from 'armadillo' , which the protagonist of Dillon's Rolling Western is.

I thought his name was Jiro though? It said so in the E3 trailer...

Since the recent conference, I really have a lot more hope for the eShop. 3D Classics Kirby & Kid Icarus, Rolling Western, Puzzleblox, Freakyforms, Mighty Switch Force, Zen Pinball... So much hope that I'm off out to by a new eShop card! I still think they should release Tetris, Donkey Kong Land & Pokemon Red/Blue on VC though...

I think this looks really good but I unless it has online multiplayer it may feel a little shallow.
However, if they do have online multiplayer it will be a lovely Eshop game and I'd snap it up straight away.
So make sure you put online in there Ninty!

Looks interesting, but it's similar to Sonic, which isn't a bad thing unless it takes a lot from the modern Sonic games.

I don't know. It looks more like a DS title. Graphically, it doesn't live up to other 3DS games. I don't mind as long as the gameplay is pitch perfect and has lots of replay value.

This looks quite cool, might pick it up if it gets good reviews. The way he rolls around reminded me of Goron Link form Majora's Mask :)
