Brad Spirrison biography

Tech Matters columnist Brad Spirrison has reported on technological development in the Chicago area since January 2000. A media executive and Internet entrepreneur, Spirrison is managing editor of Appolicious and AndroidApps.com. He previously ran MidwestBusiness.com and Extreme Networking, and also served as an editor/producer with Thomson Financial, Fox Sports and CBS Corp.
Spirrison holds a master's degree in media ecology from New York University and is a graduate of Emory University and the Latin School of Chicago.
Regrettably, he is also a lifelong Cubs fan who truly believes this will be the year. This may explain his optimism when writing about local tech.
He is married and lives with his wife and son in Lakeview.
