I got what you mean , regards for putting up.
Loved the naughty 'tribute', including the mention of Satyajit Ray in a most unpredictable manner.
Hitchcock? Allen? Oshima? Do these directors owe Kurosawa? Not in any apparent way, seems to me.
On a different note.. this video re-confirms for me there are few finer and life-affirming images than a hot woman on all fours.
