First public elections for Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) will take place on 15 November 2012 in all police force areas in England and Wales, excluding London.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is holding a series of events for prospective Police and Crime Commissioners.
The events are being held across England and Wales and are designed to help those standing for election as Police and Crime Commissioners learn about the IPCC and its work.
