LEGISLATION

VHSL membership approves move to six classes

Group AAA schools - the largest in the state - voted against the proposal. But in a membership-wide vote bolstered by smaller schools the final tally was 189-110 in favor of six classes. The new system goes into effect for the 2013-14 school year.
