Welcome to Arcade UFO, the only Japanese-style Game Center in Texas!
Our goal is to bring you the newest and most interesting arcade titles from Japan, Korea, the USA and other countries while providing a haven for the fighting game, music game and racing game communities.
At the same time, we respect the origin of arcades and always try to feature a few great classic games with our limited space.
We opened Arcade UFO to follow in the footsteps of the legendary Einstein's Arcade (R.I.P.). Our goal is to continue Austin's 20+ year tradition of community-based video arcades.
We welcome gamers of all ages! Alcoholic beverages are not served nor allowed for consumption at the arcade.

Quick maintenance updates:
- DJ Max Technika 3 is Out of Order at the moment. We’re awaiting correspondence with the developer to see what action should be taken next.
- Time Crisis 4′s 1P side is Out of Order. The 2P side is still working, but unfortunately there is no co-op play available at the moment. We’re awaiting parts to make the repair.

Power Instinct is a fighting game series started by Atlus in 1993, and was the first “parody” fighter that took pride on its light-hearted take of the genre. In the 90′s, you may have played the first Power Instinct for SNES/Genesis or perhaps Groove On Fight (aka Power Instinct 3) for the Sega Saturn. Fast-forward to 2002, when Martimelee aka Power Instinct 4 was released on the Neo-Geo; this was one of the very last Neo-Geo titles and showed that Atlus hadn’t yet let go of the series.
Finally, in 2009, Atlus released Goketsuji Ichizoku Matsuri Senzo Kuyou for Japanese arcades, which translates roughly to Power Instinct Festival: The Ancestors Commemoration. This is the 5th main installment in the series, and we’ve recently acquired this rare gem for your enjoyment!
Power Instinct 5 features 5 new characters from the previous installments as well as an Aerial Combo and Chain Combo system similar to the Marvel vs Capcom series.

- Networked together online with Fun Works @ Ala Moana (Honolulu, HI), Round 1 Entertainment (Los Angeles) and Super Arcade (Los Angeles). This doesn’t mean online play will be supported, but rather that stats and ranking for players from other arcades is accessible.
- Optional “Banapass” cards are being sold for the test. Has have full online support just like the Japanese version. “Banapass” cards are used to save your stats, and allow you to customize your characters online. You can also set your own player nickname, etc.
- Reserve your player nickname NOW by registering in advance at http://exam.tekken-net.jp! Works from any smartphone or PC.
- We are the only location test offering optional Playstation 2 pad support!

Arcade UFO is proud to be hosting the final U.S. qualifier for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition. The tournament to determine the 2-man SBO team to represent the USA in Japan will take place Saturday, August 13th at Arcade UFO. This is a team event, so you will need a teammate to register and enter.
